Free Baywood Pattern

Here is the reason I wanted ya'll to see the lovely colors in the Baywood yarns. So I could offer you this free pattern!

Baywood Self Fringing Triangle Shawl
Materials:
1 skein Baywood Yarns Luxury Sock & Shawl
1 Skein Karabella Gossamer
Size #15 needles
1 ring marker
Gauge: approx 2.5 sts=1"

Abbreviations:
PM: Place marker.
SM: Slip marker
Kf&b: Knit into the front & back of the stitch.

Cast on 1 st, pm, co 3sts.
Row 1: K3, sm, kf&b- 5 sts.
Row 2 and all even rows: Purl.
Row 3: K3, sm, k1, yo, k1.-6sts.
Row 5: K3, sm, k1, yo, k to end- 7 sts.
Row 7: K3, sm, k1, yo, k to end- 8 sts.
Continue to increase 1 st every odd numbered row by repeating row 7 until there are 46 sts, ending with a purl row. You will now begin to decrease;
Row 1: K3, sm, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: K3, sm, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end.
Row 4: Purl.
Continue decreasing by repeating these last 2 rows until there are 5 sts left, ending with a purl row.
Final row: K3, remove marker, k2tog. Fasten off last st only.

Fringe: Slide first 3 sts off needle (do not bind off). You will now begin to unravel these 3 sts, which form the fringe, tying them in an overhand knot every 2 rows to secure them.

Enjoy!

Love this shawl! I have made two of them so far and will probably make more.
