New Projects We are Working On

We have completed an awful lot of projects and items this year but here are some of the more recent ones.
These are felted soaps. No knitting required! You just wrap them in rovings, put them in a nylon to keep the rovings in place, wet the whole thing and rub it briskly on bubble wrap.

What a great idea for a stocking stuffer, house warming or hostess gift.

This is my latest concept pattern, the Open Work Wrap.

It is a very easy, basic 1 row stitch pattern and can be made with any yarn and any needle size. It can be made as a scarf, a shrug, a wrap, a shawl or even an afghan. The pattern includes specific instructions for the shop sample, which was made with Silk Garden Sock Yarn and Kid Seta, and could incorporate buttons and buttonholes instead of the shawl pin.
And this is the EZ PI Shawl from Vogue Knitting Winter 07/09. The finished one was made with Schaefer's Andrea and Colinette Parisienne.

And this is my second version using Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn and Cascade Kid Seta, which makes it sooo soft!

And this is Jennifer's version, also using Andrea and Kid Seta.

Beautiful, isn't it? It motivated me to make the second one and I know it has inspired others to start this project. We luv shawls!

And this is my big Critter boy. Don't I have him well trained to do the "cute kitty" pose?

Yeah, he is good at what he does.

I'm glad you had a "full" Thanksgiving. We had a real quiet one with just ham and a potatoe dish called "rumpledy thumps", which is potatoes and cabbage.
